I attended War for the Planet of the Apes on Saturday, July 29, 2017 and I was very disappointed with the facility. I love the fact that you can get into the Speedway and enjoy the racing along with the drive-in but the shared parking facility doesn't work. The movie began much later than expected (10:30pm) since the racing was still going on. Every other drive-In I've ever been to begins at dusk and shows double/triple features and this one only had one showing. When the movie was beginning, cars were still exiting from the Speedway and were noisy, obviously had their lights on and obstructed the screen for about 30 minutes. There were groups partying on and off during the entire movie and using loud language not appropriate for kids. Also, this movie has some subtitles which were blocked by cars in front of us as there are no berms at this facility like there are at most drive-ins. I did enjoy myself and love the concept of this shared facility but drive-in etiquette needs to be followed by patrons and possibly some security walking around would make this a better overall experience. Thanks for trying something new and for keeping drive-ins alive. Request: Could you submit your movies to the StarTrib/Pioneer Press so they are published in the movie/drive-in section of the two papers? I will definitely try Elko again as it is close to my home.

As a stand alone service, the drive-in is fine but not fabulous. What really makes this place worthwhile is that the drive-in admission also allows you to attend the races on the speedway. Great value considering you get both for one price.

I thought it was a very nice experience with just the one exception that the track lights were shining through the whole movie. That is why they lost one star.

Has a decent concession stand, shows new movies, fun place for a late night date. Movies don't start until the sun goes down, don't plan on getting home early :)

Movie does not always start when stated. I had kids with me, and when we arrived a little after 9pm I asked about when the movie was going to start. I was told it would start 20 minutes after the car race ended, which would be at 10:00pm. The parking lot was full from people watching the car race, so to find a spot was hard. People were physically running to spots as cars left the race early to save the spot for a car that was not even at the location. When I finally found a spot, We purchased concessions in order to be at the car when the movie started shortly after 10pm. My kids also had to go to the restroom, but all that was available were 5 extremely dirty portable toilets. We got back to the car, and ended up watching the clock...10:20, 10:40, 11:00, 11:20 passed. The car race ended around 11;30pm, and they announced the movie would start in 20 minutes. The movie finally started close to midnight, and my kids fell asleep about 30 minutes into the movie. Money well spent (sarcasm).
